Therapy
Overview
Individual telehealth therapy grounded in neuroaffirming, gender-affirming, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed practice.
As a Clinical Psychologist, I work collaboratively with people to better understand their experiences, build on their strengths, and develop practical, sustainable ways of supporting wellbeing. Therapy may involve exploring identity, relationships, recurring patterns, and the impact of broader social and systemic factors in ways that align with your values, goals, and lived experiences.
I welcome adolescents, adults, and families from all backgrounds, with particular interest and expertise in supporting neurodivergent adults, trans and gender-diverse people, LGBTQIA+ communities, and parents and caregivers of neurodivergent and/or gender-diverse young people.
Approach
Therapy is adapted to your goals, communication style, and ways of processing. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model, we work together to develop an approach that is meaningful, practical, and sustainable.
Therapy is shaped around three interconnected areas:
Understanding (shared formulation)
Developing a contextual understanding of your experiences, including identity, neurotype, relationships, and the impact of broader systems.
Supporting (regulation and capacity)
Building practical ways of supporting nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and everyday life.
Integrating (meaningful change)
Supporting identity integration and meaningful change in ways that align with your values, goals, and pace.
This work draws from person-centred, trauma-informed, minority stress-informed, nervous system-informed, parts-informed, and adapted skills-based approaches.
I do not use approaches that seek to normalise or change neurodivergent ways of being. The focus is on understanding, self-knowledge, and building a life that works for you.
How sessions are adapted
Sessions are flexible and responsive to different communication styles and processing needs.
This may include:
flexible pacing
use of silence

Not sure if this is right for you?
That's completely okay. You're welcome to book an appointment and we can explore together whether this feels like the right fit for your needs. If I'm not the most appropriate clinician, I'll do my best to help you identify other options where possible.
