Hi, I’m Kelly (she/her)

Clinical Psychologist, AuDHDer, and founder of Minds of Colour

I offer neuroaffirming and gender-affirming psychology via telehealth across Australia.

I support:

  • neurodivergent people

  • trans and gender diverse people

  • adults navigating identity, burnout, and system-related stress

Experience

Since 2017, I have worked with children, families, neurodivergent people, and trans and gender diverse people, including within specialist services.

Alongside my own lived experience of neurodivergence, this has shaped a practice that prioritises:

  • safety

  • clarity

  • respect

  • adaptability

Language & context

I practise with awareness of how systems, language, and assumptions shape experiences of distress and difference.

This includes the impact of:

  • minority stress

  • ableism

  • racism

  • cisnormativity and heteronormativity

  • environments not designed for neurodivergent and marginalised communities

This work is not about “fixing” you, but understanding your experiences within context.

My approach

My work is grounded in:

  • neuroaffirming and gender-affirming frameworks

  • trauma-informed and system-aware practice

  • collaboration, transparency, and respect for autonomy

Together, we develop a shared understanding of your experiences—at a pace that feels manageable and aligned with your needs.

How sessions are adapted

Sessions are flexible and responsive to different communication styles and processing needs.

This may include:

  • pacing

  • written or chat-based communication

  • flexibility in how experiences are explored

A little outside of work

Outside of work, I’m a parent (of humans and animals) and value creativity, sustainability, and expression.

Occasionally, animals may make brief telehealth appearances (if we are lucky).
